Welcome to LCORPS.net
LCORPS.net is the online home of Life-Changing Outreach Programs & Services, created to help individuals and families connect learning, employment preparation, healthcare career opportunities, and youth development with practical support. Our purpose is to make the next step easier to understand and pursue. Through one intake and coordinated services, participants can identify their goals, develop individual plans, access learning resources, and document their progress. We are building a welcoming platform where people from different backgrounds can work toward greater confidence, economic stability, and lasting opportunity.
J.S.A.P., our Job Seeking Assistance Program, supports people as they prepare for employment and pursue their next career opportunity. Services include job-search guidance, résumé and application assistance, interview preparation, and career planning. We help participants organize their experience, recognize their strengths, and identify skills they may need to develop. Employment support also includes follow-up after placement, because transportation, changing schedules, and workplace adjustment can affect a person’s ability to keep a job and move forward.
O.J.C.T.P., our On-the-Job Computer Training Program, helps participants develop practical technology skills for work and everyday life. Learning areas include computer foundations, digital literacy, Microsoft 365, business software, cloud tools, and online collaboration. Participants can also explore AI learning and responsible AI use, with an emphasis on privacy, checking information, and understanding a tool’s limitations. Hands-on practice, individual learning goals, and documented achievements help learners build confidence and connect their developing skills to realistic career plans.
G.Y.V., Giving Youth A Vision, is designed for families with children and young adults from infancy through age 21. Its purpose is to support cultural, academic, social, and economic growth through age-appropriate learning and family involvement. Service areas include Homework Helpers, Young Writers, coding and STEM, African American history, youth entrepreneurship, mentoring, and health and recreation. We center the development of African American youth and their multicultural peers, helping young people explore their interests, develop responsibility, and imagine possibilities for their future.
HCRC ONLINE, our Healthcare Career Resource Center, helps participants explore caregiver, CNA/LNA, LPN, and future RN advancement pathways. Career and barrier assessments guide an Individual Healthcare Career Plan that considers education, technology readiness, family responsibilities, and funding needs. Support includes training-provider comparisons, funding navigation, study assistance, and credential and employment planning. Outside approved providers deliver regulated instruction and required labs and clinicals. LCORPS helps participants organize the journey and prepare for each step, including connecting healthcare career goals with J.S.A.P. employment services.
Parent & Family Services brings family goals into the same coordinated support system. Online family intake, individual development plans, parent workshops, home learning support, and progress appointments help parents and caregivers take an active role in their children’s development. Adult family members can also explore employment assistance or computer training through LCORPS. This approach recognizes how closely a child’s opportunities connect with the stability and resources of the household, and helps families plan their next steps together.
Health, Wellness, Fitness & Recreation, a Giving Youth A Vision service, encourages healthy routines and active participation. Learning can include healthy habits, nutrition education, wellness awareness, and age-appropriate activity goals. Families can use these resources to support movement, recreation, and positive habits at home and in their communities. Our purpose is to help young people understand how caring for their well-being supports learning and personal development, while encouraging enjoyable activities that families can make part of everyday life.
The Digital Certification Lounge connects participants with third-party learning resources while providing course-navigation support, study guidance, and credential tracking. Resources include Google, Microsoft Learn, AWS Skill Builder, IBM SkillsBuild, Salesforce Trailhead, Meta, LinkedIn Learning, Coursera, edX, HubSpot Academy, Cisco Networking Academy, NVIDIA, Hugging Face, OpenAI, DeepLearning.AI, Intel, Code.org, and Scratch. These resources support a range of technology, business, creative, and AI interests. Access, costs, and credential types vary by provider. We help participants understand their options and connect learning achievements with their individual development and employment goals.
A statement from our founder,
Christopher Seymore:
My purpose in building LCORPS.net is to create an organization that can serve people throughout their lives and remain useful to future generations. To me, sustainable living means having the skills, support, and opportunities to maintain a stable livelihood and care for your family. I want LCORPS to help people carry what they learn into everyday decisions and return when they are ready for another step. Lasting service requires responsible growth, dependable funding, and accountability to the people we serve. That is the foundation I intend to build.
